Ok, after seeing this list, I need to know something.

What the heck does "Bump" mean, when that is the only thing written in a post?


I have been meaning to ask that.

so the post gets "bumped" to the top of the list. some forums like this one keep active topics to the top. it is common practice for those that are following a speific thread that hasnt had a comment in a few days to bump the topic to get it back to the top of a list in hope it will continue to generate more discussion.

Memebers of online squadrons may sometimes end a post with a salute, and I've seen a few styles...(not meaning that only squadrons can use them). B)
